Today was a disappointment. It’s hard not getting discouraged when I’m holding at 9-10 pounds lost week after week. Monday I go to get fitted for my Maid of Honor dress and as much as the dress is pretty, the situation ISN’T going to be!
I guess I should smile that I’m maintaining despite eating at Cheese Burger in Paradise this week AND having 4 alcoholic beverages within the last 9 days.

As my boss and I have discussed, to be most successful at losing weight you have to "eat ingredients" rather than lavish meals. Stay away from the dressings and toppings. I went back to eating extra healthy last Mon and man I noticed a difference in my energy and how great I felt all week. Basically I was living on fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken, and rice. There was a birthday on Friday and as much as I love cake.... I took an apple to eat while everyone else had cake and allowed myself half a bite of frosting to get the taste. maybe you should do a healthy eating project with your kids steer them away from pizza and junk food and in the process set yourself up for healthier eating when you are spending time with them. Its never too early to get them all started on healthy living after all look at the rate of obesity in America!
